On April 1st & 2nd, 2006, Draco was a featured act, (along with the F-18's Night Flight, the Golden Knights, and the Air Parade) at the Florida International Air Show in Punta Gorda, Florida (held at the Charlotte County Airport ). Draco made the cover of the program and had several write-ups in the program, "And then there's Draco the Dragonator. Draco is one monster you want to keep away from your car. . ." Draco travels in his customized "Dragon Wagon," a semi-tractor and trailer specially designed and built for DRACO. The man behind the scenes, the handler and operator of DRACO, is Canadian Robbie Dawson. Known across North America as Flying Robbie, Dawson is a pioneer in Freestyle MotoCross Bike Jumping.
